Green like concrete, wrong bounce - shot saved

  Hi there,

  Trying to keep my shots clean and on the green in the CTTH Bali Hai tournament and the ball hit the green then reversed off at a 90 degree angle and landed in the water.

  You can clearly hear the sound of the ball hitting a hard surface like concrete rather than the softer sound of grass green and then it accelerates away at a wild angle into the water.

  I've saved the replay of the shot as it's probably the strangest shot I have ever played. Take a look please, the replay is saved as "Bali Hai reverse bounce from green?!?".

  Also, if it is determined that it is a bug (can't see how it wouldn't be) if you'd be gracious enough to replace the lost ball, that would be sincerely appreciated.

  Hi Ole, 

               I had a look at It a few times & If you stay In camera 1, (Don't stay on Auto) you can see It hitting the rocks. On Auto It Is showing the "trace" flight below/behind the green which makes It "appear" that It hit the green when It didn't

  The ball lands on the side of an indentation in the slope of the green and with the backspin at that angle is what caused that to happen . If you look closely at the shot from #2 camera you will see the ball landing on the side of the slope . That shot should be played either to the left side of the pin or top left ,with a touch of b/s to draw the ball back which will also take the water side of the green out of play . 

  Also the reason for the hard sound is due to the fact that the course is located in Las Vegas which happens to be in the desert . The natural ground due to the temperatures of extreme summer heat has caused the ground to be as hard as concrete . This also allows for the greens to be faster than they appear .

  The point where the ball hits something is 9-10 yards short of the pin. That short of the pin you are going to be in the water, or hitting the stonework at the edge of the water.
  
  I think the graphics puts the animated ball on top of the other layers in the flash window, so when the shot is viewed from behind the pin, the ball appears to hit the green, when in fact it should disappear behind the stonework.
