  Most forums, reputable ones I frequent, have a "Show New/Unread posts since your last visit"...

  Do you think that's a possibility here?  Or do we have to trundle through every bloody category?

  I'll add...how about renaming or making new forums?

  Something like:

   

  Quitter Gripes

  Meter Gripes

  Lost Ball Gripes

  Bookmark the My Discussions link or Active Threads.  You'll see unread posts in bold.

  I think Snaike is looking for a feature that will take you directly to the oldest unread post within a thread, or somehow highlight where the unread posts start. I've asked for this previously and was told not to expect any changes in the forum tools anytime soon. Same answer for a message to 'mark all read' option.....

  Please correct me if I am wrong Snaike, but this is what I got from your explanation.

  It would be most welcomed to have an option to still cruise through the thread categories, and have an option to jump to the oldest unread post, just like you can currently jump to the last post in the thread. What the functionality of that is, I'll never understand......

  The whole forum needs updating really. With less sections and more moderators.

  One stop shopping, top to bottom, oldest to newest.

  I subscribe to "World Golf Tour" on Google Reader (actually have it on iGoogle) and it works great.  Only gives me new postings each day.  Cheers.

  More info on subscribing to Google Reader for forum updates:

  1. Go to the WGT Forum page: http://www.wgt.com/forums/

  2. Click on the orange RSS feed button at the bottom, highlight and copy the URL address for that page.

  3. Open Google Reader, click on "Add A Subscription"

  4. Paste the RSS URL address in the box and you should be good to go.

  If you want to add it to iGoogle, create an iGoogle page for yourself, then click on "Add Stuff".  Do a search on Google Reader then add it to your iGoogle page.  Simple.
