The 75 yrd wedge should punch around 60 yrds

Guess I should have said that the 17yd pitch shot that comes with the 60 yd Cleveland is what I'd miss most.  Only since I know it so well.  Not that I couldn't relearn a shorter pitch shot but remember not liking the 50 yd atv pitch distance.

Im more of a flop and punch guy myself so have to have the 20yd flop and the 50 punch up my sleeve . But as mags said there may be more coming soon to make things right . With the way things are right now there`s nothing left to be desired .

    hpurey:

As much as I want to have Callaway wedges in my virtual bag just to have them, I can't do away with the 100/80/60 yard gaps.

Same here, I'm a huge Callaway fan in real life and even bought the top level virtual irons just to have that name show up while playing.  Pretty effin' pathetic eh?

But having no 64° option makes these wedges a really big waste of online space for me.  If they'd offered a 56°, 60° and 64° that hit 100, 75 and 50 yards then I might just have swallowed the bitter pill and sunk another 6k into the game.

The stats look tempting but the distances make zero sense.

Pathetic?  It's not like you're asking them for a specific color or anything. ;-)

    I agree

They could represent them with any degree of loft they want, but without the lower yardage wedge (50y/60y) the set doesn't make any sense.  To me at least.

Dont do it save your credits for another day . Im in the same boat as you plenty of credits and nothing to buy . I dont know who had the brain fart for these wedges but thinking is not their strong suit . Hopefully WGT will have something better coming out soon they have too .

    Ok, than you scott

I only hesisate for the 56° because i have so much repear with the 56, 60 and 64° so the two other are not for me.

These new Callaway Mack Daddy wedges exist higher loft at shorter distances, therefore, an 64Degree wedge is theoretically not needed.

Furthermore, they are forged, thus giving more distance and precision. There is an extra grove at the bottom of the face to aid in lining up chips and pitches with more precision and stopping power with the new 16-groove design.

The Mack Daddy Forged comes in an range of 6 lofts: 50D, 52D, 54D,56D, 58D, and 60D with only one bounce option per loft, which is unusual, however, the versatility of the C grind sole allows skilled players to get all the shots they want.

And finally, the Mack Daddy Forged have less offset, squarer toes, and straighter leading edges, which makes it more of an precision tool with an touch less forgiveness. These are versatile clubs, expect more spin at higher lofts.

    God Bless,

I too was looking for new wedges since Cleveland also has the 3.0 wedges and those were the ones I was looking for . But WGT threw me a curve with these wedges and like most Im feeling the disappointment too . But at least its ok because I have the top clubs with nothing to buy except balls .  So no reason to waist credits on buying wedges that I dont need . Just have to wait and see what the next let down is going to be .
