    Hi Larcombe,

Have you already played the Stroke Play tournaments once?

I'll answer for him as me.  Yes, I've played the free tourneys but now I'm "ineligible".  I guess I'm just too good!   LOL!  Yeah, right, sure.  :)

Yeah...WGT has this nasty rule that everybody seems to missing.  For free tourneys you can play only ONCE.  You have one shot to post to the leaderboard and don't forefit because you won't get to play again so complete your round and pray you have a good one.

Just to clarify the rule mentioned by PeteBolte.  In order to keep with the spirit of competition and the pressure of real world golf, stroke play tournaments that determine the winner based on their place on the leaderboard can only be played once.  Just like professional golf, you have one chance to post your best score. So please practice and bring your A game to the tournaments.

To minimize the confusion, we will add some more text to the stroke play leaderboard tournaments to make sure this is very clear.  For the more causal player, you can play the closest to the pin tournaments as much as you want.

Another thing to note is that we require a player to complete any tournament rounds they play and do not allow you to restart or reset your score.  This is to make sure a player does not stop and reset after a bad shot in a tournament.  Once you "forfeit" a tournament game it is over and you cannot re-enter.

    Thanks for your feedback

I have to say that the Jerry Lewis Stoke play tournament will be the VERY LAST WGT stroke play tournament that I will ever enter.  We pay $20 to play in the tournament and all we get is ONE shot.  Doesn't matter if your cat interrups your shot, doesn't matter if the power goes out in your house, you only get one chance.

WAKE UP... this is NOT REAL GOLF.  This is a computer game.  And why we can't have multiple rounds, just like Skills challenges is crazy.

And if this was real golf, my cat would not be interrupting my shot and the power going out wouldn't matter if I were REALLY ON A GOLF COURSE.

The guys who use to run PrizeGolf.com back in the day (10 years ago) use to run $10-$20 tournaments with cash payouts of $5K for winner $3K for 2nd, $1K for third and several hundred dollars for skills games (that were incorporated into the actual rounds).  They took the your top 4 submissions (and you could play as long as you liked and as many times, but all submissions had to be completed during the weekend - Thurs-Sunday) and used those top 4 submissions as your tournament score.  This is the type of game I thought WGT could become.... but I guess not.

I don't disagree with you.  I think we should have four rounds too!  I had a bad round (39) in The Jerry Lewis Stroke Play and wanted some more shots!  As it is, I'm in 4th but it could have been a LOT better so I'm miffed also.
