Cannot send messages to new friends since 3/30 update

  This just started since 3/30 update.

  Friend request is accepted ... or I send friend request and that is accepted ... I can't send them messages.  When I check their profile, all I see is "Invite Friend", not "Send Message".

  Don't blame the update - it's another flaw to blame, and you can solve it:

  The WGT "friend" system only works for up to 255 friends - you have 264. For those in excess, most functions are spoilt. For years, they haven't put enough into it to remedy this :(

  So, the user's workaround is to reduce the number and maintain only 255. I'm sure that there are some who stopped to play...

  Thank you.  So, all I need to do is clean out deadwood ... I have plenty of it.

  I did not know there was a limit.

  To close the loop, I spent an hour clearing out deadwood on my friends list, and problem was solved.  Again, thanks.

  i had the same problems 1 month ago... i deleted some friends to go under 250 players and all works good now.

  256 is an important number to a computer. For whatever reason, WGT didn't allow for that when making the friends list and as a result, going over 255 wreaks havoc. 

  As an aside, deleting friends can be a tedious process and the fastest way I found is to open your list on your page, right click the one you want to delete and select the top option-open in new window.

  Do this as many times as you want and then go to each page, delete the friend and close the window. If you don't see the delete button, refresh the page.
