Beware of Sponsor supported Tournaments

  I learned a valuable lesson today that all members of WGT should be aware of.  Read the Tournament Rules before you enter any of them. 

  Today I wasted all my time and 3 packs of Callaway balls on a tournament that I am not even eligible to play in.    Even though it's my fault for not reading the Tournament Rules, the frustration level is very high.   Don't make the same mistake.

  By the way, I live in California were nothing is prohibited.. I can go to the corner store and buy a bag of weed,  but I can't  play in a virtual golf  tournament who's sponsors have home bases in California and San Francisco were I currently live.

  Sour grapes I know, but that's what forums are for.

  I lost 3 balls today YJ,    The rest were eaten up by the amount of holes I played today.  I also said that I could buy the weed, trying to make a point.  Not that I did buy the weed.  I am not looking for compensation. I resent the accusation, it was totally uncalled for.

  Probably has to do with promoting alcohol. It's a regulated area in a lot of places.

  Jeez, Sal, I didn't realize I caught you in your sensitive period. There was no accusation, merely a comical insinuation. You brought it up and I laughed at it. The way you wrote it , it looked like the 9 balls went during the tournament.

  I formally retract any reference to your imbibing in an illegal substance (I'm sure you've never tried it) and I formally apologize for damaging your fragile ego.

  I am sorry I offended you, Mr. Salamii, sir.  I will never do it again. That is a sincere, solemn promise.

  Y.J was only having a laugh, stop being so touchy, it was only a bit of humour, which also got a chuckle out of me, any one could see it was just a bit of jest out of your first comment
