Ingame mood

  Hey guys,

  wouldnt it be nice:

  -to hear waves crashing in the background on the seaside courses and hear seagull sounds?

  -to,have a bit of music during the game?

  -to have a living course, not just photos to play on, like trees moving, squirrels running, birds flying... and of ourse, the sounds to let the golf parcoure come alive.

  now its like playing on a foto wall. nice though, but could be better! bring atmosphere in it.

  You mean like EA Sports Tigerwoods golf.All you suggest and lots more was in the game 15 years ago.And thousands of courses to play.

  Dont get me wrong I really enjoy Wgt but the #1 thing this game needs is more courses,many many more

  Yeah it all sounds very good and would be nice . Now for the bad news:

  1 It would require a great deal of new and additional programming .a cost that neither WGT / Top Golf would be willing to spend .

  2 You are aware of the bugs and glitches that are also created with pretty much every update we go through .

  The game is great as is but yes could be better but it will be at a cost .

  @ Tiger paw it costs WGT / Top Golf about 250,000 US dollars to shoot a course which is a considerable amount of money . It would be nice to get at least 2 courses a year but first WGT has to find the courses that want to be represented in the game . To me every course doesnt have to be a PGA course . There are plenty of nice courses all around the world that the majority of us would love to have added to the game .

  +1 Lonnie.  The main reasons something is not done usually comes down to time and money.

  Thanks for your reply. all true. I loved to play Tiger Woods PGA Tour... True, there are plenty of really nice golf courses around the world not mentioned at PGA. And to be honest, i even would pay 50,- bucks for an app if the game would be as Tiger Woods once was. Create your own golfer, outfit him, edit irons, drivers, woods etc. All very nice tools that make the game even more enjoyable. Dont get me wrong, nice job till now, but i guess, with that kind of big community the game allready has it could be a great step forward to advance in a more professional game direction... maybe.

  Yes, it would be nice to see the trees moving with the wind, and clouds..maybe in the future.

  I turn off all the ambient sounds and usually listen to my own music.  The way the game looks is fine for me.  I'm not big on how a game looks tbh.  Even when I play BF1 on my new machine I set everything to low graphics (I could easily run Ultra settings) and maximize performance.

  So it would be nice if the game ran smoother w/out any of the many glitches, many of which are detrimental to scoring (wrong wind direction, greens not matching correct break, etc).  I'd love to see a better UI too.  Give us more in game options and custom settings (UI).
