How is this clash something that will make the lower tiers want to play? For them it is an exercise in futility! WGT take a look at your future players and by not trying to kill the cash cow. You are killing your brand and your future for any more of these types of events and players will be voting with their pocketbooks. Fire the persons who thought this up and programmed it!
If opposing players have tied for most points in a clash, who gets the 100 point bonus?
To the best of my knowledge, whoever shoots the lowest score for ones club, is awared the extra 100 credits toward their clubs total score!

Set up the match in middle of night . The opposition are all sleeping .Mostly americans so play breakfast time uk time . One or 2 free rounds is usually enough .
