  Sorry now but if you look again you will find that 2 of the 5 top 10 players(McDowell and McILory) are northern Irish lads so that would make them Irish,they were born on this island, brought up on this island,learned there trade on this island, in my eyes that makes them Irish. If you wear a woolly jumper dose that make you a sheep,nope it dose not make you a sheep u are just wearing a woolly jumper,before we know it they will have the tricolour next to there names

  Both players are  Brits duda they carry a British passport as doe's my catholic  wife born in Belfast....just saying. Check your geography out you'll might be surprised what you find.

  If you're from the North of Ireland and you excel at sport,you're British.

  On the other hand, shoot someone or plant a bomb and you're Irish.

  As you know griffy this is a very touchy situation so i am not going to go on about it,in my eyes they are Irish and in your eyes they are Brits,what ever they are they will do us both proud.

  I never realized that you knew these guys well enough to represent their idealogical views on any subject. I'm not going to argue with you about this, the OP is about golf not politics... My wife how ever  loves to argue with Free statesmen about such matters. Send a friend request and i'll have her call you on skype.....lol ..chill duda or i'll have to send you some Callaway balls.

  Sorry TLD not even close........don't even have to do much research to know that we here in California (So.Ca) are #1......yea I know you Floridians will balk 

  Just for starters......City of Palm Springs and surrounding area (pop <150,000) has more that 100 Golf Courses, head WSW about 40-90 miles and you'll find another 100.

  so goin by wat ur sayin then any one from scotland and wales must be english as its all on the same island???

  the fact that northern ireland and the republic of ireland have 2 different flags, capital cities and use different currencies might mean that they aren't the same to me, so i seriously doubt they will ever have a tricolour next to their name.
