Just noticed that five out of the top ten players in the world are BRITS....quite achievement considering it has a land mass smaller than the State of Oregon.

    Oh i get it...so it doesn't count.

With  millions of more players and thousands of more golf courses, you'd think that the USA was the Capitol of golf.

Its about time our brit players started producing in the major championships though. Knowone will remember having 5 brits in the top 10 in 10 years time. Only those who won the majors.

Go the Brits...one of them needs a major though, just to prove a point ..stats dont lie!

I was talking about land mass because it sounds more impressive. lol...using population takes a bit away from it...never mind :)

it's not the size that matters, it's how you use it.

At the top I think Britain is better. However, when you go deeper in both tours, European and PGATour, you will find more Americans. I think American golf is deeper than British golf. Literally anyone can win on the PGATour. Not because the best aren't really good but, because there are so many other really good players. Not sure that exists on the European Tour.
