Stop wasting your money on  expensive balls . You wont get any benefit from using top end balls with starter gear . Also you can set up stroke play practice rounds and putt on champ greens . They arent very fast once you get used to them . In fact not much faster than tourney green speed . But since you are only Pro tier what are you playing thats champ speed ?

All slopes get more important because - overall - ball speed is reduced.

    Concerning vertical slopes:

    - putt heftily upslope,

    - putt timidly - ehm - cauciously downslope.

Distance + 0r - elevation X .65 will get you to the cup. Do what the upper posted said when confronted with steeper slopes

U shouldn't be giving putting advice.that^ even on the flat will leave you short every time.

How to putt champion 13 green speed? its very fast.

    Hello.

I copy paste a pm i sent to a friend a while back. Maybe you will find it handy...

Hello there! I am very pleased that these calculations helped your game! :)

Well...this is a general formula and works well in 90% of the cases. There are few things i 'd like to share with you. When you are under 10 ft on UH putts, do not try to be precise, always give a little more (x0.76 +0,5-1 ft). When you are over 10 ft on UH putts, formula works fine. Now...if you have a long putt, let's say >30 ft, wind comes in play. With face wind, stick with the formula meanwhile with tail wind cut a foot or 2.

Let's go to DH putts. Formula works fine till 20 ft. Over 20 ft u do the same as for UH putts (tailwind, cut off a ft or two).

Still we haven't finished though!! hahhaah

there some catches on DH putts.

    Example.

    15 ft 5 down. 10 x 0.7 = 7, right?

    30ft 20 down. 10 x 0.7 = 0.7, right? Wrong!!

Meanwhile your first putt will have the wright speed, the second one will be speed lightning. Because of the heavy DH course, u have to play the second more like 5 ft. These things work like this on Tournament and Championship speeds. As you go down, fast, very fast etc you don't need to compensate that much.

    One last thing...

When u see an orange DH grid, know that it will be quicker than the red one. Furthermore, and this is the most important thing that a lot of people do not know:

Let's say u have a double break putt with more or less equal density. The first 2-3 quadrants affect the putt more!! This is just stupid because should be the opposite when the ball has no weight. Instead for the stupid game works like this!! LOL

    And one other thing...

When u have a heavy heavy cross DH break, u have to ADD 1-1,5 ft, and not substract, in order to compensate the break effect.

That's all for now. Putting is a complicated matter but once u feel good about, your scores will be much much better.

As for the formulas, i have written down only 4 of them (veryfast 10, veryfast 11, tournament and championship) cause i rarely play standard or other speeds.

    VF 10:

    till 10 ft, UH x1+, DH x0.9. General rule: UH x 0.9, DH 0.85

    VF 11:

    General rule: UH x 0.86, DH 0.81

    Tourn:

    General rule: UH x 0.76, DH 0.7

    Championship:

    General rule: UH x 0.74, DH 0.65

    PS

Every now and then, wgt staff changes the speeds by a little, so sometimes u have to compensate. Not big deal though.

    Cheers!!
