Oakmont removed after update ??

  Nope, Oakmont could only be played all at once, before somebody screwed up and let custom courses include Oakmont holes.

  Only two possible reasons for the parting of the ways, at least the way I see it.

  1) Oakmont got thoroughly pissed about the above. If this is the case, new employment opportunities should show up in San Francisco rather soon.

  2) The contract was up, Oakmont wanted more dollars to re-sign and the Top Golf bean counters declined the offer. If this is the case, it was a pure business decision for each party.

  It would be nice if WGT would be a bit forthcoming and clear the air, but I don't see that happening.

  I do not like it that wgt has lost a full stroke course, the reason does not matter.  However I believe it was a business decision, if it was not, then I think we (WGT Players) may be at the top of a slippery slope with no rope to save us.  my nickle.

  I've posted before that why would any good course want to have their name linked with topgolf/wgt.  How about Cog Hill???????  Or try getting a world class mini putt putt???

  Wolf Creek , Valhalla ? lower cost nice courses are out there,

  This really was a cruddy way to take out a course with no notice, Shame shame  WGT.

  Lack of creativity and patron relations never fails to amaze me with wgt ; [

  Now, however, would it be possible for wgt to insert a few pathways into CTTH as stroke?

  After playing Oakmont for 7 years, its like a bereavement - but the whereabouts and the wherewithin of the death certificate are a mystery.

  The biggest blunder by WGT ever - and that takes some saying.

  will WGT be replacing Oakmont with another course? Bring back Whistler/Cabo to be available to play in ready go's/skins and that would make up for it lol.

  Well that's too bad. The worship of the almighty dollar wins out again over doing the right thing and growing the company. Instant gratification wins out over long term rewards.

  Well... That pretty much is the straw that broke the camel’s back. While I can overlook some of the obvious attempts to squeeze more dollars out of their customers, removing courses from an already anemic line up has forced me to look for other golf games out there. I like WGT for the most part but playing the same courses over and over, with most courses not even having alternate pin locations, has gotten tired.

  Our little country club is small be we play every night and rotate the courses through our nightly schedule. Our country club will now be actively searching for a new game to play. Most in our country club left Tiger Woods online golf when they shut that game down and this is how we found WGT. If the product no longer fulfills the needs, then it's time to move on.

   

  Goodbye, WGT. You can now go count your dollars but not for long.

  That doesn't make sense. Someone wins every tournament and gets paid.
