mrcaddie heads to Bethpage IRL

  Hey friends,

  So, in a few hours I'll be taking the ferry over to Long Island and tomorrow morning some of my WGT friends and I will be teeing it up at Bethpage. We'll be playing on the Red course because carts aren't allowed on the Black course and we're a little out of shape to be schlepping our clubs for 18 holes.

  I'll let you how it went when I return.

  Well, that was a very, very long day... but fun was had by all. I'll get some pictures together and give you a write up later today.

  Also, I'll be choosing someone at random, that responds to this thread, and send them a gift that I picked up at the Bethpage pro shop (you might get more use out of it if you play golf irl, but that's not a deal breaker).

  If I ever actual make a bucket list, playing a round of golf at a course I've played on WGT would be on it.   Make that round with some WGT friends and that would just be icing on the cake.

  Oh damn, I'm so jealous right now.

  Oh well, I'd probably have not managed to score under 100 anyway.  Sadly my WGT skills far exceed my real life ones.

  Looking forward to seeing pictures and reading a write up of the day.

  An opportunity to hit an approach at the 15th pin is all I ask...  they can bury me thereafter (probably need to dig me out the sand 1st though). :-))
