the answer is yes and no.
no in the sense that clubs play as rated.
yes in the sense that the flight path is much lower and they spray a bit, so you when you a shot to green, it may not clear it and land 30 yards short and the assumption is that it played 30 yards short while it didn't it merely finish it'd flight stage and would fall and run if it was green, but since it didn't clear the nastiness, it got stuck in rough. so, in a way it acted like 30 yards short, while it wasn't.
high end clubs have higher flight paths and paired up with proper balls will fly alot, run alot less and can be controlled with much higher precision.
