  Hey Marty.

  We UEL players have to wait until the V Open ends to get the course as it was intended to be played. To answer your question from another thread, there is no back door to play alone in UEL.

  'RE: Erin, my one play through in the Quali was very fun and it looks like RSG to me. I wish the wind was much higher but many  of the snowflakes don't like high winds.

  The harder the Better. ;)

  Just go to Erin Hills, create a group and set it for Uneven Lies, then invite friends.

  Yep,those winds are almost scandalous on this sort of set up.... UEL would have ideally not been too difficult if they didn't have a massive drunk party on the fairways.

  Why is that? Just because it's a links style course doesn't mean high winds are automatic. All of the other links courses here are next to oceans where windy conditions are common. Not so with EH, it's pretty much landlocked.

  Unless there's some weather event, I doubt winds are going to be a real concern for the real thing. WGT will probably just use them to make life difficult.  :-)

  wonder what it will take to qualify? I am thinking 55 is what is needed. Far too many birdie holes. I know I have to greatly improve upon my 57

   

  Also, given that Mike Davis is not playing the real US Open from the tips, I can see 10-15 under winning this. May play more like a PGA Championship. Will be a par 72 and many of the tee shots will be landing on downslopes. Would be closer to even from the tips as the balls would be landing into upslopes instead of on downslopes

  it will be interesting to see how they do from the different tee boxes on probably 10 holes
