so sad ..he made golf come alive for me ..i was mesmorised with his escapes...and he gave such pleasure to so many.

...Was thinking of him today when i was playing a mplay at bpage...i missed every green, my opponent must have gone nuts as each putt he took slipped by and i scrambled on every hole to halve the hole and then eventually won on the 7th ...just for one moment, i felt like seve must have felt as he defied his driving and his opponents and that today, he was watching over/looking out for me.

    Rest in peace

A true legend, we'll likely never see the likes of him again.

I started playing fun rounds with friends using only a 3 iron for every shot a few days ago, an idea from the early days of Seve's playing when it was the only club he had. No wonder he was such a genius shot maker.

R.I.P. Seve, golf will never be the same without you.

The Pro Golf community has indeed lost one of the truly Great ones in Seve Ballesteros. There is no doubt he will be missed and Immortalized, as he should be for what he gave to the game of Golf.

However, I believe this community at WGT, will miss you "Seveking" after learning of your announcement of retirement......Perhaps you might reconsider or postpone, so we would not have to endure the loss of two "Seve's" in such a short period.

I take my hat off, and salute.....two Great Spaniards of Golf.
