Desktop icon?

    A dumb question but I'm getting dumber by the day it seems, so here ya go: What the best way to put an icon on a Windows PC desktop for ease of access to WGT golf?

    Or...

    1.)  Go to the webpage that you want the icon to open.

    2.)  Squish up the browser window a little so you can see the desktop.

    3.)  Select all the text in the browser address bar and click and drag it onto the desktop.

    4.)  Right click on the newly created icon and select 'Rename' from the menu and type a new name for the shortcut icon.

    Simpler yet, make WGT your default page at browser start-up.

    Doing this is a  sign of addiction, doing it in the same month as you joined the game is a sign of hopeless addiction.

    You can find details of local WGTAnonymous groups in your Yellow Pages.

    Enjoy the ride and hit 'em straight.

    No better way. Not only is it easier but if you dont use the browser for anything but playing WGT the game plays much more stable.,

    You can also just drag the icon left of the url and drop it on the desktop.  Of course, this GIF is me doing it on my work PC, so I better delete the shortcut LOL.

    No icon left of the URL in Chrome for me HP. Remember, all browsers are not the same.  ; )
