irons question

  i rented K15 Pings and like them but should i invest in the rapture v2 and if so, which ones?

  The raptures are a great set of clubs that I carried all the way to Master. If you like a slower meter than they are the club for you. Combine the with the SD ball and the ability to control them effectively is great. After Master you will not be able to reach much with them.

  you mention the Rapture v2 but there are two sets of them. Which ones do you prefer?

  No thoughts on the K15 pings?

  I still use raptures v2 at level 90+ hitting off legends tees. I think knowing clubs as important as other attributes.

  It seems like the K15's are pretty much the same except for .5 addition on precision and a little more distance on the irons as far as i can see. (5 yrd difference)

  Hard to concentrate while looking directly in your eyes   lol

  I play with the G10's steel version the higher level.  Once you get to master / legend you have to have irons that are long and go high to survive.  The Raptures won't do it.  I tried the K15's but had trouble in the wind so I kept my G10's hope this helps.

  In the other thread you were concerned about the loft. Now that you've accepted that part I think WGTIcon pretty much told you about the Raptures. I'd listen to him. :-)

  I just recently purchased the Ping 2010 Raptures(graphite) and am very pleased with them . I think you'd be happy with them.

  I guess i'm trying to find out why no one likes the K15's when it gives you a little more distance and .5 more on precision, otherwise these are the same exact clubs as the Raptures v2 far as the stats they give?

   

  Is it because of the credit price? Being 150 more?

  If you can wait till you get to level 48, the level 48 raptures are better than the K-15 and the lower level raptures.
