elsasser:
I do not understand all the degrees, what should be used as a sand wedge, pitching wedge and lob wedge?
It sounds like you might not be a golfer, elsasser. This is fine, you can learn the game here and have a blast.
The degree numbers indicate how much of an angle is in the club face. The higher the number, the flatter the face of the club. This means the higher the number goes the shorter the flight of the ball is but it goes higher up in the air.
You can carry whatever you want, the name doesn't make a difference. Typical players will carry 56, 60 and 64 degree clubs.
