Versa putter L96

  Did they change the increments on this putter? It was always 6,12,18,24,30. Now mine has an extra increment. Any one else have this problem? If so, what are the new increments?

  No it wasnt . The L96+ Versa increments have always been 15 ,30 ,60 ,100 ,150,etc . I had it for a good while and loved it but gave it up for the L98+ Sabertooth . I dont know of any putter with those increments . But then again other than the Versa putters the only other one I`ve had was the Daytona Rossa L55+ . Now Im curious about what putter you have or were thinking about with those increments .

  Let me clarify a little. When my putter was set on 15 ft the increments used to be 6-12-15, now they are 5-10-15. When it was set on 30 ft, the increments were 6-12-18-24-30, now they are 5-10-15-20-25-30. on 60 it was 12-24-36-48-60, now it is 10-20-30-40-50-60. I can't even figure out what they are for 100. So what happened? And I have not bought a new putter in 10 years. I'm not even sure I bought the L96, Did I get a free upgrade, LOL

  What was the green speed that you were on ? Sounds like you were on a slower green which is why your putting was off .  Sometimes the greens will putt slower than the speed indicated . Its just one more thing WGT does to keep us on our toes .

  Especially on 5-6 foot  (or less).

  Hmmm,

  Those aren't putter increments; they're PutterPal markings. Perhaps over the years, something has changed with that calibration, but the level 96 Versa has always had the same increments.

  Wonderful putter, used it and loved it until the l98 Sabertooth came along and stole it's place in the bag.

  I had to read on to know what in the actual hell she was talking about.  I've used the 96 for a long time and it has nothing below 15.

  I couldn't link what she said to Putter Pal because I'm a Tour Legend, not Tour Pro.

  PDB1 at least you understand what I'm talking about. I'm not talking about greenspeed, I'm not talking about putterpal, I don't use it. But I stand by what  i said about my increments.
