are you referring to ingame messaging or facebook or me adding many other time zones? i believe the first 2 were done (i don't handle that), and the latter, can easily be converted. I only announce as our office time only, to keep it simple and to allow everyone make one simple conversion.

so i am saying out of courtesy to everyone outside of US time zones, surely ye at WGT know that their is going to be downtime on a specific day and  why in the world ye cannot let everyone know at 12 noon pacific time(instead of 5/6pm PT) and then at least members from this side of the world, will know well in advance that they wont be able to play when they wake up in their morning times,

    Seriously...

12 Noon pacific would be great for you, but would affect people in other parts of the world in the same manner you're complaining about.

But as long as its a good time for u right?

    Wow

Well....   I've been around for about 4 years and I don't remember  any other times (other than the 10:00pm PT - 4:00am PT)  used for "downtime" or "maintenance".   Appears this is the "standard practice"...and....... the mod's typically give a same day notice roughly 5+ hours in advance.....      and this is "JUST NOW" a problem?   No offense Keano......  but you've been on wgt for 7 years.......    Personally, a 5 hour lead time notice is fairly compliant in the virtual world...........

In regard to RG's etc......     perhaps you should play when you pay instead of gambling that you pay now and play later?   RG's not played because on "downtime" are refundable.............. quick notification to CS will handle that....done it several times.

    i will try sarcasm maybe!!!!

Give us more adds....likes lots and lots please!!

I would like to be able to watch 40 or 50 of them before i tee off on every round.....

Ideally spending more time watching adds than i actually play...that would be great.

Take more equipment away so we only get like 5 clubs of mismatch each

and maybe take 12 of the 18 pins off of every course put those holes in the rough off the side of the green we may or may not be able to find them.

Maybe just one course too...like a best of or something like that....

CC's just 2 people per CC one owner and a director...make for interesting tournies and cc forums.

And for goodness sakes hire some more people there at the Top Golf head office so we can get these adds selling through the roof....need more right away...snap snap

What's wrong with sending out a notice 24hrs in advance? Add a count down timer like the 15 min one that usually appears just after I start a late night game.

Surely, WGT knows when approx a build will come out, so why not hold on to the build just 1 more day so everybody can make alternative playing arrangements?

Really?   Really?     24 hour notice and a countdown timer?    Required time for players to make alternative playing arrangements?

Is missing a game or two during a "downtime" that big of a deal?  Is possibly losing that 50 cents you wagered on a game going to leave you in financial ruins?

    Seriously????

Really? Seriously? Not sure where anything was written about financial ruination, but I do feel that an email announcing a down time would be a nice touch.  (espically since not everybody trolls the forums, and wgt can send emails reminding me of all sorts of other things.) I'm not in favor of a count down timer, as that would entail another downtime to install, and would probably screw something else up. Oooops then another downtime to fix that. We here in the U.S. have the luxury of the downtimes, when we are snuggled nice and warm in bed, dreaming about whatever we dream, but in the rest of the world, some are just coming home and settling down to prime time.  That 3 to 5 hours span is when they play, if they can't,  then how do they keep their continous daily point bonus up?  Hmmmm, but it's ok , cuz it's good for us.......right?   Can't understand why people get ridiculed for posting suggestions, or ideas, good or bad.  Even a bad idea can be revised enough to turn out good!

Appears to me that a 10:00pm PT downtime would, in fact, be considered prime playing time for many people  in the US....particularly those on the west coast........  so the inference that it has no effect on the US is  wrong.

Regarding the "daily play" comment............ I guess playing one of the other 19-21 hours available that day  is too difficult.......    That 45 seconds to play a one hole practice game is certainly hard to squeeze into any ones schedule.......

Face it.......  a 24 hour notice will mean absolutely nothing. Downtime will still occur and probably at the same time..........  so what does it really matter?  It happens on a few occasions per month.................certainly NOT as if they have a daily downtime (which I could see an issue with).

So lets move along to the "real" root issue and not beat around the bush with the crap........      What you want is WGT to completely re-arrange their  program to suit a particular interest. You want WGT to "spread out" their upgrades and down times in a fashion that effects every time zone proportionately.    It's not about a notice or length of notice....it's about  how the current downtime and maintenance times don't fit your personal agenda....

BTW....  I noticed a new "Crash/Clash" has started......and I'm damned pissed that I did not get a 24 hour notice...................
