    Hi all ,

i have a pressing question I can't answer an would like some info .

i have 2 members in my club atm , both at legend tier , one averages 58,4 the other is at 57.1 both want to tier up to tour legend , what else needs to be done for these guys , both have played well over the 500 stroke play game required at legend based the info I have says they need to , has there been changes I have missed ????

Any help would be greatly appreciated guys

    thanks jase025

There have been no changes that I know of. What that means is that they probably have their numbers wrong.

If their averages are under 60.000, which they are, then they haven't played the required number of ranked rounds at Legend tier. Most likely, they are miscounting their ranked rounds by including rounds in the number that don't really count.

Or they don't realize that it's 500 rounds at Legend tier and not 500 rounds total. And unless someone is playing all red-tee tournaments, it can take a while to achieve an average of 60.000 and 500 ranked rounds (if playing from the default tees). It took me a year, after reaching saturation.

Of course, it is possible that there's a glitch with just those two members. But to resolve that, they would need to contact CS.

One way to tell is for them to go out and shoot a fairly high round on a course. If their average goes up at all, then they're not saturated and don't have 500 ranked rounds at Legend tier.

    Hi Rob ,

both guys have saturated scores an yes they both have checked an yes both are over the 500 stroke play games , they are extremely frustrated atm an in the verge of giving the game away , I do know about the games needed an checked both history of scores both well over 500  , only thing I can think of is custom course play ( games not being counted towards play )

    thanks Jase

    @ Jase

It does sound very frustrating. The only thing they can do at this point is contact CS. But I doubt there's much that they'll be able to do.

All I can say is best of luck and hope it gets resolved.

    Jase,

Custom course games don't count. Robert's suggestion of blowing up a round to see if the average goes up is a good one.

yes, it will be the custom course games and par 3/bandon rounds that have not been counted

    +1 K7!

Course history reveals nothing, because only the rounds after reaching Legend tier do count.

Exclude from that: Par3s, Par5s, and CC Custom courses.

If in doubt, the players should appear here for a "personal inspection". Until now, I've not seen any player where the "known factual assumptions" would have failed...

You should post this on his profile page.  He might not see it just in the WGT forum.
