    jayw4862:

I won the SkyTrak monitor back in Nov 2015 and received a message from shoe within a couple of hours of the tourney ending, wanting my name, address, etc.

If I remember correctly, this message would have been the 1st of Dec. 2015.

After not hearing anything for 5-6 weeks, I wrote CS. They told me that I needed to get in touch with Skytrak about it.

I tried, but at the time, there wasn't any way to "contact" Skytrak, so I wrote CS to ask them how to get in touch with Skytrak.

After a week or so of back and forth, I finally got a chat link for SKytrak CS. When I started that conversation....they didn't have a clue what I was talking about, and had no clue what or who WGT was!!! (I still have the entire, very, very long conversation).

After days of going back and forth with the folks at Skytrak..someone who knew about WGT and the tourney got it straightened out. I received the Skytrak in late Feb, I think.

No idea why WGT puts up a tourney and then tells the winner it's their job to collect the prize.

The U.S. Open trip was a different story altogether. Maybe because the USGA was involved, WGT handled it much more professional and businesslike.

The Amazon cards (from the Pro Shop) come really quickly (usually within a day or two at most).

    Good luck Tom

im glad u replied jay - it feels like im in the same boat when dealing with wgt/topgolf and skytrak - wgt tells u to contact skytrak, and yet when u do, they say get in touch with wgt/topgolf lol.......is this how business is conducted in the states now hahaha.

yea its easy to say just contact skytrak...but get to their website and wow no links to anything lmao - not even a contact email.

somehow I found a livechat guy to talk to and he didn't have a clue what I was talking about but told me this :

We don't have updates from them. You need to contact them to get the details

You can email our support at customerservice@skygolf.com so they would follow up with you. The email may bounce back but they would receive the email on their end and help you on that

I am sorry. I am from Live chat support and we don't have any details on it. You need to contact the support at 1-866-940-4279 between 8am - 5pm Central Mon-Fri.

see that support email Kenneth gave me? it actually doesn't work!!!! LOL it did bounce back and I still jhavent heard from them.

and since im living in Adelaide, Australia I don't think ill be spending 100 bucks of my own money on hold to them asking for a 100 giftcard.

    Dear Thomas,

SkyTrak definitely has your information for your prize. I'm sorry this is taking so long. I have our partnerships team reaching out to them to see if they may be able to push the process along a little bit faster.

    Sincerely,

    WGT Member Services

that is the last response I got from wgt/topgolf - further correspondence has been ignored lmao

I also have that conversation with skytrak saved - it was pretty clueless tbh lol

jay do u have  a link to skytrak CS? I never got a legit one lol

im only posting these in response to a new skytrak tournament wgt has brought out - with the same ghosty amazon giftcards on offer as prizes lol

if anyone wants to win the prize - don't bother playing it, play for fun but don't expect anything in the end.

it will generate thousands of dollars for wgt and in the end we don't get what is offered.

any mods want to offer their thoughts on this subject?

ME thinks i won't bother playing this tornament because this sounds like a big runaround on WGT s part.

I guess the sooner we realize that they could care less about their customers the better off we will be.

I've heard about 4 or 5 of these types of issues now from WGT friends about claiming and waiting for prizes.

The "I" in integrity is not in WGT or TOPGOLF so i guess that answers that.

Cheers and sorry to hear you guys getting the runaround like this.

trev I get the same feeling also -ethics must be a class these guys missed at business school lol

i am sure we all remember dansamcam.....was one of the WGT greats. He would have something to say about this i am sure, unfortunately he is another casualty of WGT and their handlings. He is now a distant memory and has walked away from the game.

yep definitely remember dan and his problems with wgt - that was unpleasant.

one of the all time best hanging up the boots because wgt never gave him the prize he won.

What an utter pile of crap,You go out there and win a WGT tourney(congrats btw) but in WGTs eyes  if you want your prize please go after it your self,,WE DON`T CARE.Great to see all the so called Mods chipping in on this BS,If i had an issue with buying credits they would all line up to help and give advice on how to take my money but when its the other way round  ye can all go fu)k yourselfs,we only want money and not give it away even if it is not our money/gift-card/or some other crap you give out.

GIVE TOM HIS PRIZE AND WGT CAN SORT OUT THE BS WITH SKYCRAP

yes ive been awarded a paper prize and even had 100.00 added to my career winnings.... but the real world prize is a distant thought right now.

Don't you have to be verified for RW prizes ?

Either way it sounds like you getting a b.um deal :(

Tho I'm sure it will be sorted out later than sooner....

    ;)

what I do find remarkable is the non existence of communication by the mods in here - there are mods in this forum I presume?

im sure ive seen some around.

what also baffles me is everytime I talk to someone at skytrak (like today), they have no clue on what tournament they sponsored.

usually companies know these things.....I guess in this day and age, anything goes?

no andy I don't think so - wgt never asked me to verify anything, all they asked was for my postal details on where to send the prize lol

not too sure on that sorting out bizz - tarheels is still waiting on his giftcard from December last year lol
