Todays Release May 12th - sorry for the temporary slowness

    I have been unable to play due to the computer wanting me to take lessons. After it shows me how to hit a shot, goes back to practice. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    I have read many posts about meter issues after the problems ive had in the past, ive found that pausing at the top of your swing for 1-2 sec is the best solution for me.  its not the perfect solution but it helps for sure.

    it shouldnt happen once you click ok. can you try clearing cookies and temp files for all browsers. that should reset it and when you do practice again, it should save it for good.

    Thanks for the report, that is the type of problem we are working on resolving.  Thanks for your patience.

    why hasnt any of our ball's been replaced due to WGT error's? u are admiting to the problem but u seem to never replace our balls that have been  lost due to poor gaming error's, why do u not have a test server to deal with issues before they are introduced to us players, it's getting more and more clear now that u are only concerned about our cash intake,  it's like u are saying you know there is a problem but thats ok,  i want my callaway iS balls replaced Due to wgt error's,  there was no statements about this untill afterwards, and it has happen several times in the past year,  just like the surveys, u say they are on the up and up but they are not, i have finished and proved that i have done 9 surveys now and not gotten 1 credit,  and why should we have to hear from an admin doesnt Eric  ever come out and own up to these known issues ? hate to think i would wear a dress and hide behind my employees to do my dirty work,

    My questions is two-fold.

    1) Been a member since March this year and every "question" I do has to be in the form of a reply to someone else's questions to get an "answer".

    2) I can't find the "post" button to start my "own" questions AND WGT always have to approve first?  Why?  I have posted at least 4-5 questions here already.  Haven't I proven myself to be a "worthy poster"?

    I don't really have too many issues with the meter playing solo. The meter seems a lot smoother to me. Now when I play in a group, alt or premium tournaments is when I seem to have the most problems with my meter. Not sure why but it happens 1 to 2 times per round when playing in groups and paid tournaments.

    I just bought the new balls to see how they compared to callaways, Seemed great so I went and try to play a premium tournament, Meter issues on hole 1 & 6 on St. Andrews. LOST 2 BALLS!!! I was not very happy lol.  But all is good. I don't get upset about it but wish the meter would stay smooth through all the modes of play.

    On Forums and Free Golf

    Dear fellow golfers:

    I admire your passion for the game, but you must realize what WGT does here.  They take high definition images of real life golf courses and make it so that we can play them.  This is neither easy nor something they intentionally don't fix.  I assure you they are constantly working problems.

    This is a free game.  If you have chosen to invest your money, then that's your risk.  Sometimes when you spin a slot machine you get cherries, sometimes you don't.  Is it aggravating?  Of course.  Insinuating that WGT does it on purpose, though, is quite silly.  This is a technical game.  Every few months it gets better.  Just enjoy it for what it is. 

    Now, as for forum etiquette, if you don't know how to post, read other people's posts.  If you have some critical comments, state them in a polite way.  If you've ever been on any other forums, you realize that WGT participates MUCH more than most admins.  They have taken notice of several of my suggestions for improvement over the last year.  Heck, they hired someone out of the forums last year!  So, don't bash a company that is providing you with a FREE experience.  If you have something critical, present it in a respectful way and I guarantee that WGT will address it somewhere on the forum.  Just because you post your question on the end of the wrong thread does not mean that WGT should chase it down and reply to you.  

    I hope you all enjoy your games.  If you'd like to play against a mediocre pro with some new clubs, send me a friend request.

    I dont know if its related to the upgrade or not, but ever since, I have been booted about 7 of 10 games making me appear to be a quitter....also lost my 23 days played  bonus...even tho I play every morning, I am not getting the benefit due to not finishing the rounds. It always says, "there is a problem with your internet connection"....but there is not. Any ideas? I have cleared cookies, adoble cache, temp files, you name it, Ive tried...Hope to see it clear up!
