Since I don't know what you are referencing you might further your case by explaining this commercial you are sitting through. On very rare occasions I might get a commercial prior to the start of a sponsored tournament. Seem to remember a USGA bit prior to playing a 9 hole event and maybe some others, but not recently. But I do use Maxthon with an ad blocker.
Since we do play for free, we sometimes have to put up with revenue streams. If you don't accept this as a fact of life, you have not been watching "free" television shows. And since this is your first post, I would like to inform you of the reality of this forum. WGT does not really care about threats of exit. Sometimes one of their employees will respond to a post but never one with a threat of leaving. Most of the other regular posters here will say something about the door hitting you on the way out. We do appreciate the class act of long time highly ranked players such as fmagnets who never say a word about reasons for an absence from WGT.
Yes, you do have 249 WGT "friends" ;but the likelihood of some of them departing with you is quite remote. If you would like advice on how to do something such as setting up an ad blocking program; or even better, how to get to a higher tier; this forum has the answer. Complaints about WGT, however, get little positive reaction, and certainly none from the powers that might be able to do something.
