  But if a person plays every day, that's not exactly correct, given how the CDP bonus works. It may be halfway in terms of XPs, but the halfway point is actually lower than that in terms of days needed to achieve the level (if one maintains his/her consecutive days played streak).

  True. My presumption is that most folks miss a day here and there, but obviously for people who are diligent about CDP, it shortens it somewhat.

  But I think the general takeaway holds - leveling up gets exponentially harder, to a degree not really comprehended by most relative beginners.

  By the way, there's a glitch with the custom course tournaments that allows a player to pick up a lot of extra XPs. If you play a custom course tournament in your country club (any custom course) and then play another country club tournament immediately after that (that's not a custom course), you'll pick up a whole bunch of awards again, which will result in a boatload of XPs.
  
  I've read where some have received as many 5,000 XPs. I'm told that WGT is aware of the glitch and is "working on it."

  It's something they would rather hide to let the players grind with unbowed hope.

  Transparency comes from the exhaustive reference list which I have extended to L137 right now.

  BTW: It doubles from L80 to 89, again to L94 and once more to L98. This means, x2 in nine levels, x4 in another nine levels - factor eight in eighteen levels!

  just my personal opinion but I don't think there's a better club in the whole game than the Cleveland 64deg Wedge, it saves so many shots once you work out how to use it best
