After all this time this game is STILL RUINED because the shot meter decides it will cease to operate smoothly AND OF COURSE THIS HAPPENS DURING MY BEST GAME AT CONGRESSIONAL HAVING SHOT 5 BIRDIES IN A ROW ON THE FRONT NINE AND SHOOTING 31.

Then the shot meter decides it will play up and *** UP my round and I play the back nine HOPELESSLY BECAUSE THE SWING METER STARTS PLAYING UP and I think I ended up only 3 under for my round. ITS NOT MY F**KING FAULT IF THE GOD DAMNED SWING METER DECIDES IT WILL GO MENTAL ALL OF A SUDDEN.

Surely I would have thought that this game could run locally on the machine and only send position information back over the net WHEN THE DAMNED SHOT HAS BEEN PLAYED ALREADY AND NOT HAVE TO SCREW UP THE SHOT METER SMOOTHNESS WHILE I AM TRYING TO PLAY A SHOT.

THIS GAME IS HARD ENOUGH WITHOUT HAVING TO PUT UP WITH A SWING METER THAT DECIDES IT WILL RANDOMLY (ACTUALLY NOT RANDOMLY BUT DURING MY BEST GAME) *** UP.

GIVEN THAT THIS ISSUE STILL HAS NOT BEEN FIXED FOR OVER A YEAR I THINK I WILL NOW LOOK ELSEWHERE AS I AM TIRED OF THE *** THAT YOU HAVE TO PUT UP WITH PLAYING THIS GAME.

Question to you - Why do you feel the need to start a topic & to inform us of this ???

It`s like members starting topic`s informing everyone they are leaving (who cares) I often wonder the amount of topic`s what get started up some good some pointless must be slowing the site down.

Might want to get your computer looked at.

FWIW, Suncity,  he's mad as a wet hen.  I'd be PO'd too if what happened to pj happened to me. More than 1 player has ranted about killing the front 9 and getting killed on the back 9. More particularly, that the meter changes on them. It's real easy to think there's forces at work you can't do anything about when you have that great start foiled by a meter that decided to play different on the back 9.

Whether or not it's his computer, how do you explain the meter changing on him mid game?

I had The SAME EXACT game as pj. Only difference might be the # hole we had our birdies on. I just recently posted a thread in our Club Forum as this one. I was FREAKING PISSED. I think I still managed a -6 under with 2 bogeys on the back. But considering I was -5 under going into the back 9, nailing 3 birdies on the back 9, without those bogeys and my meter going totally berserk on the last 9 holes I may have come in under the cutline of 62.

Now as for my good friend sun's response. I do agree 100% that most threads are useless. Especially the threads that have freaking paragraphs telling stories of freaking Sherwood Forest and Martha’s Vineyard..WTF! ..lol. If this is the case and “players” on this “golf” sight like to read that crap then WGT needs to implement “Story Corner”. This way everyone that is more interested in these freaking fairyland adventures can go to “Story Corner” and catch up on all the goings on in freaking Wonderland..lol. Seriously, just having some fun..
