Starter Club Duffers

  Hi.all Club owners.

  This is a first to me. I am not a club owner, But a Director of the Starter Club Duffers.

  We have 245 Members & at level 19. Which is only 1 behind The Georgian.

  We regularly finish in the top 20 in the Clashes weekends.

  This week our owner has been taken seriously ill. It is unlikely he will return to the running of the club. Im sure many of you know of him. (Edgey54321).

  For the remainder of the club, Who want to keep all his hard work going at the club, Have been told by WGT or TopGolf  that as He cannot give another club member permission to take over ownership. Then they will shut down the club.

  We are looking at different ways to keep the club going. But we are out of our depth.

  I would really like some advice on how we can move forward & keep a great club alive.

  Dave and myself have not had a responce now from WGT for over 48hrs, they also have on there records one of our directors that was made temp owner in the past so could easily use this information for an owner change, the way myself and Dave and the club in general have been treated when you consider the cost given to WGT to get this club where it is, is absolutely disgraceful, i see no other way but to petition WGT with the support of our members and the support of this community, remember people this could happen to you too, maybe changes are needed where clubs are co-owned incase of illness or death or any other reason where 1 owner has to leave and all the hard work of over 240 people in our case is lost................ i hope all read this and post there thoughts and support
