    hi,

was there a sound like it hit trees? from what it looks like you hit wood outta rough and sometimes (if  it's a bad lie or angled) ball will popup high in the air.

could you save a replace next time, it really helps to find the spot

    thanks for the report

    wgticon,

I think she's referring to the alteration in the ball's flight path seen towards the end of the shot.

Which is where the sound Icon is asking about happens. Sometimes it's a tree and other times (places) it sounds like plexiglass.

Yes, that's why I am asking. Many times when I hit wood from rough, because the angle was uphill, i'd get a popup to go 30-50 yards instead of 200. I simply cannot tell from that picture if that's the case or not

To me it looks like both a popup AND it hit something on the way down.

    - The ball is well on its way down and has only gone 47 yds indicates a popup.

    - Look at a larger view and see the aberration in the arc where it changed direction indicating to me it hit something on the way down.

I see that but we won't know sure since it may have some spin which would make arc not reliable.

    Hopefully OP can clarify :)
