Maybe they need some senior irons and drivers. Verify your age with WGT, 60+, or whatever, and you can buy the long hitting clubs with slower meters!

To add, the technology exists using Skype video calls.  I'd welcome a call from WGTIcon so he can "card" me.  I hear he doesn't have enough to do anyway. ;~)

And while we're at it, where's my Seniors discount?  Contacting AARP as we speak! LOL

If you guy's are seniors I must be older than dirt.  Just my HO but I don't think one should be penalized by a faster meter for better clubs, speed should be the same for all clubs. The pro shops and golf stores don't have signs on clubs saying you have to swing faster to hit this club properly. JMHO

P.S. Where is that senior discount?????

I still think the longer clubs should have faster meters, otherwise there's only reward, no risk.  The benefit of long hitting clubs is obviously longer shots and the further you can hit a club the harder it should be to do so. Accuracy and forgiveness are presumably based on real world clubs to a certain extent, the only way to make these clubs a bit trickier is to make the meter faster.

I'm no master of the ding, far from it, but I accept the odd wayward shot from my i15's because the reward for getting close to a ding is a good shot that goes a long way and ends up pretty much where I intend. I'm amazed the new TM irons and the R11 clubs have relatively slow meters, I'd have made them the fastest out there.

A better result requires a more accurate input, that's the same in most aspects of life.

My understanding is that WGT tries to follow the lead of the golf club manufacturers.  In that case Ping has pretty much ended the Rapture line at the current level and are moving forward with newer, longer, better, etc. irons.  Much like TM has moved from the old Burner to the R11 which is longer although the new TM Burner 2.0 which is an inch longer than the R11 (in real golf) is actually longer than the R11.

I see this trend continuing until we all have clubs that fill every dot possible and balls to match.  When that happens my 51 in the Open qualifying will still be 6 shots behind that of Bollox proving that you can only buy a game to a point and then skill and talent takes over.

Hmmm, seems the club makers are making them lighter and more aerodynamic to get head speeds up. Does that mean you use your regular stroke for greater distance. As I can remember the harder I tried to hit a ball the more trouble I got into. There are teachers out there that promote the 3/4 back swing for us older guy's and it works, I've taken the course so I can attest to it.lol
