nice game Ed .. as always .. exciting until the end .. :) ... hit the flag from 60 out ... bounce 30 backwards ... i wouldn't have believed it if i hadn't seen it

I wasn't real thrilled to be paired with Zant in the first round of this tourney, I know he is a great player from playing a number of rounds with him in the past. The match started off as expected with both of us tapping in putts of 4 feet of less for birdies on the first 4 holes. On #5 Zant's tee shot landed on the slope, releasing left about 15' and he just missed the birdie putt. I was able to sneak in a 7' bender to take a 1 shot lead. We each had 2 more short birdies on 6 & 7 before again misfiring slightly on the par 3 8th, and both missing shortish birdie putts. Zant was unlucky as my typical choke was averted on the final hole when I stuck a wedge to 2 feet to seal it.

Thanks Bollox for posting good review of our game.I almost gave up on hole #7 when you almost drain it for an eagle by inch.It was a great round,enjoy it a lot even that i lost it.Best player won,good luck with rest of the tournament mate.

Thanks for a tourney Luke,let me know about you next project.

Scores for my match against Pigkiller:

Pigkiller 38 (+2)

The game started badly for Pigkiller when his meter skipped on him causing a lost ball ! I on the other hand had a dream start with 4 birdies and an eagle after 5 holes ! Pigkiller tried hard to cut the gap with some nice approach shots but the putts just didn't drop for him so it was a bit of a lopsided match. Still he was a real good sport and didn't complaint or any thing but actually enjoyed watching me popping a few birdies here and there.

Thanks pigkiller you're a real nice guy mate and I enjoyed playing with you a lot. Also Thanks to Luke for inviting me to play in the tournament I look forward to some really good games.

once again cool you played like a freak of nature on the green in one on the par4 #3 and a 42footer for eagle just crazy stuff good luck with the rest of comp and thnx luke for putting this together even tho played like a retard lmao cheers.

Kosei82 and I played our first round match. He was a lot of fun to play with. Match scores:

cyl6 - 30

Kosie82 - 33

We both missed short birdie putts on #1, unfortunately it was the start of a trend for Kosie82, who missed short birdie tries on #2, 3, 4, and 5. I birdied #2, 3 and 5. to go 3 up. We both birdied 6. Then on #7, I made a 22ft eagle over his birdie. He birdied #8 while I bogeyed to take back 2 shots, and he missed a short birdie on #9 while I made mine for the final margin. Thanks for a great match, it was a lot of fun. Looking forward to future rounds.
