Newtown on my heart - this in my head - found it!

That is a great song, seen em do it live..even better

me too man - gosh, seems like the 80's all over again in here.  I think it was 1985

Paramount theater in Seattle - they were the opening act for our local boys queensryche -

the local radio station here - KISW - had this concert series, forget the 'buzz word' they used - but the ticket cost 1$ - yes, 1 American Dollar - I think it was called Rising Star or whatever.

Well, by then they had already risen - qr actually played at my Jr High prom in 81 and in 82 we had night ranger.  good times.

anyway - white lion came out and dude had nothing but a chair, a spotlight, and a very reflective white acoustic guitar - 'ryche might as well have gone home half way through the first 2 songs - WL blew them out of the water - hands down the best show I've ever seen in the paramout - eclipsing heart, santana, janes addiction, and many others.  I was sure they were the next "led zeppelin" but their 2nd album, you could tell there were troubles - sounded like the producers effed up their whole vibe - the writing fell off, the groove of them just disappeared. sad really -

Duffer, Queensryche is still one of my favorite all time bands. No on and i mean no one at that time had Geoff Tates range and vocals. i have seen them 15 times and will see em again any chance i get. Between Mind Crime and Empire, 2 of the best albums of our time.

no doubt - clearly they didn't rehearse their set up is all - pretty small and closed in venue - nothing sounded right - crazy times for them success wise - we all got the impression they checked out b4 they got there - just an off night - still though - we rocked our butts off and loved every second lol.  I've seen em before and since and likely will again someday.

I remember the first time i seen them on a grand stage..i had seen em in clubs in the LA scene while i was younger, the Lady wore Black Days, but they opened off for Ozzy at MSG...it was unreal..Chris Degarmo on guitar was kicking butt, shredding like a cheese grater and that was the big hair, make up, and leather coats days...those were the best. I believe after doing a lot of research not including clubs, i have seen over 400 concerts my first being 1978 Van Halen in Worcester Mass for $8.00...Heard Eddie V and been a metal head ever since. Here is a killer song in your honor Duff.
