Well done JonnyBau, your next match is against DesertStorm.

Meanwhile, the JTxpress/Edchavez match seems to have fallen though, which, if the case, means that JTxpress' next match is against Hackorsorus. Good luck to all!

I'm still waiting to hear from Ed. I missed our Tues. game time because of a power outage. I hope to hear from him this afternoon when he gets home from work.

Well, I guess it's official. 1 hour to go till WGT shuts down for maintainence and no word from Ed. I messaged him yesterday, and today. Waited all evening for some word from him, but nada.

    Some updates:

Pro, Amateur and Hack matches have all been 'delayed', so the belt holders have new people to play. And they are:

    Pro: Jtxpress V Hackersorus

    Amateur: SpinMaster V Cobra4

    Hack: Faterson V ThunderBoltz

I'm going to be gone until Sunday, so good luck to you all!

Faterson lost his Belt to Thunderboltz. Both played worse then expected.  Faterson had rough problems on the Par 5, which turned his round into a bad round. I was at even par up till making a double and 2 bogeys.

#102 Ranked (#71) Thunderboltz  (39)  made mincemeat of #39 Ranked (#46) Faterson  (42)  on the Bethpage Black (Back 9) course
Game Type : Stroke Play (Ranked)

Yeah, I've been processing my report on this.

Faterson holed in a flop shot at hole 1, and thereafter it was a long string of disasters for him, as opposed to ThunderBoltz's very solid approach shots. The recovery came on hole 15, when Faterson's powerful 3wood approach shot ended up curving gently on the most feared Bethpage green to stop 6.5ft from pin and secure a par putt. That was when Faterson was already 6 strokes behind. Between holes 15 and 17, the deficit was reduced by 4 strokes, but another bogey by Faterson on the final hole meant that the Hack Belt deservedly goes to ThunderBoltz who only got dragged down in this game by the bad play of his opponent. The telling stats of the game are probably Faterson's 11% for GIR.

As to those adventures on the par 5 that ThunderBoltz mentioned, here are a couple of screenshots for your enjoyment, as most of us never get to see these particular views. (Clicking on thumbnails will enlarge them.)
