I think the OP was really concerned about how hard it is to win credits in free tournaments. Instead of placing in the top 75, there should be a signing bonus of 20 credits for entering said tournaments. Naturally, WGT would see this as an opportunity to create a revenue stream by charging 1500 credits to act as the OP's agent while taking 10% of all credits that the OP earns or wins or purchases.
Think of it: enter a tournament and get 20 credits but you have to give your WGT agent 2 credits. Win 50 credits, and you give your agent 5 credits. Buy $20.00 worth of credits and your agent gets 200 credits. Watch 50 videos on your mobile device, get 100 credits and the WGT agent gets 10. And to really make this work, those who don't want an agent, will have to pay 20 credits to enter those same tournaments.
Guess the OP wants to make a "free" internet game a way for TopGolf to be a business that actually makes money for its investors.
