any chance of this? I'm only asking as each time there's an update or tweak to version blah, blah the game goes to hell for me and I'd like a bit of warning.

just played a game in my CC which was the last round in our monthly comp, I've been going quite well so was looking forward to trying to get a decent score but the game was shot to bits. metered on half a dozen holes, incorrect lengths on shots, rough not reacting like it should. i couldn't do a thing with it and it ruined the round.

i might be wrong but wasn't the game on v1.70.10 until recently? it's now on .12 and it's all fked up.

i don't personally see any difference if i clear my cache etc, but if an email could be sent informing of maintenance then at least i can iron out the gremlins in some practice rounds.

    possible at all WGT?

This replay from Monday 5/23 shows the version at .12

I like your idea of an e-mail letting us know maintenance was done!

i'm rubbish with time zones so i'm not sure if this is the case, but i had 2 good scores (for me) on 23rd and 24th, maybe that's before your US 23rd? probably not but since then it's not been a happy game.

just thought it might be possible. WGT is quite a nice site in that it doesn't flood me with rubbish emails, but i do get a few and they're not really of much interest to me. It would be nice to get one that might avoid the FU round i just had.

edit - nice shot by the way :)

not sure mate. i've got a shortcut on my desktop that brings me straight to my profile, so i don't go through the front door.

saying that, i've read about big updates like clubs and new courses, but not about the little tweaks they do on the version numbers? could be wrong
