How is it possible to miss a 2 inch putt???   I don't know, but I did it.

I almost fell off my chair laughing while watching the replay.  It looks like I hit the flagstick.   Seriously WGT???

Haha, thanks for the laugh...and I wonder if this is the shortest putt ever missed in wgt or golf history?

Those are some mean greens. LOL!  I think it's fair to say that you got robbed on that one.

Possibly overpowered it? A two inch putt on my meter would only be 2-3mm of power on a 10ft scale. Obviously I'd give it more than that just to make sure, but it's easy to overdo it.  : )

Rachel, watched it three times. I think Scott is probably right. You hit it little too hard and it popped out. But yes, it might be a new WGT record.

It's my understanding that when on the green, the flagstick is automatically pulled. While it still appears to be in while putting, it actually is not.

    Hi

Correct Robert, as soon as the ball lands on the green the pin is out, even if still visible for aiming purposes.

It must have been one almighty whack Scott, when I have a tap in like that on my 15 scale I'm using around 10%. Never really thought about it before but disappeared off to the putting green and checked. I've never had anything like that happen to me although on several longer putts the ball seems to have hit the opposite side of the hole and hopped up and out.

I couldn't believe it stayed out ( I can't call it a miss), definately robbed there Rachel but at the same time I'm pretty sure you have a unique record.

    Cheers!

    Rich

Looks to me it's neither the flagstick nor hitting too hard, rather the aim mark was accidentally dragged to the side maybe on the mini-map.
