Can anyone explain the very very slow play in multiplayer games?  Many players disconnect and you are then playing by yourself.  Neary everytime I play a multiplayer round, there are always many complaints regarding the slowness of the web site.

Try creating a game with a sub-60 second timer, that will increase the speed of play. As far as people quitting goes, it's typically due to frustration, not slowness of play.

I play mainly with family members who never quit, and we always have the same problem, the game disconnects more often than I care to say. and slow is not a strong enough word. So the poster is right. I need the 90 seconds to shoot , don't want to lower it to 60.  Also get many time out errors , but we are beating a dead horse here. as these problems have been mentioned  thousand times.

I am not very savvy about what you mean Nick. We all live in different locations How could that affect our play, some are clear across the country. ?

My guess is 70 percent of the time its people quitting due to not being a good sport and 30 percent is because of technical glitches with the site.

If you don't want to worry about people quitting, join the ladders site.  Its a site made to find and play matches where people don't quit.  Matches are played on WGT and results are recorded and players are ranked.  If anyone quits, that is a loss on their record.  Too many quits and a player can be banned from the site.

There are 9 hole stroke and match play rankings as well as Random 3 holes and Guilds (Teams).  For any of those interested, you should join up. Create your user name the same as it is on WGT and enter the chat room.  The more the merrier.  If it wasn't for ladders site and competitiveness on it, I would have lost interest in this game LONG LONG ago.

Message me privately if you have any questions about it.  A man named Mark runs the site and has done a wonderful job.  The man should be paid by WGT...
