  Hi there, yes we do moderate the forums. Unfortunately, none of us in the office remember off-hand the music's artist, and we've been trying to track it down the past few days. We'll update you when we get an answer.

  Hey Alex... you could check with Accounts Payable.... the bean counters will have records of who they had to pay to compose/produce the audio...

  Unless someone in house did it gratis... for a new set of clubs.  lol

  Sounds like they sampled it from a chase seen in a bad porn movie ! Just waiting for that wah pedal to kick in :-)

  Moderate in emergencies is the most that can be claimed.

  If you're the proprietor of a building, there can be two types of activites:

  • maintaining the building on a daily and hourly basis, ensuring that everything is working properly
  • put out the fire if a fire breaks out in the building.

  WGT only does the latter, and completely ignores the former. A fire squad is not the same thing as the regular maintenance staff. Half the quarrels that regularly erupt here could have been avoided if these forums were properly moderated.

  Thanks for the feedback. We've always taken a more hands-off approach in the forums, preferring to let our players engage each other in lively discourse. That said, we are looking into ways to provide more moderation in terms of removing flame wars quicker and merging/moving threads regularly. Thanks for your patience as we adjust to the higher volume of posts, and we appreciate everyone's help by not engaging in flame wars and by reporting abusive posts to us.

  My understanding is that the "Report Abuse" button on each post is non-functional.

  Perhaps we could say .. "..report abuse by emailing members@worldgolftour.com .."

  That kind of music is called Chillout or Modern Lounge and is located somewhere in-between New Age and Techno and is one of the fastest growing genre in the business.

  It's kind of hard to know who performed it because those kind of artists mainly compose stuff for commercials and such and don't necessarily record albums per say.

  Anyway I don't listen to music while playing as it breaks my concentration.

  BTW: I watch bad porn movies all the time, I never heard that kind of music there!

  ...just joking of course! :-)
