If your a freaking L91 and you wanna take your ball and go home, have the decency to do it properly. BS to ruin the game for the rest of us on the last hole because you're a little baby.

    WoodyMPW:
    you're a little baby.

some would say whining about it in the forums is the same thing.

    EDIT:

I was reading a different topic called (I GIVE UP) you used the term CRY US A RIVER in regards to the topic.

As they say CRY ME A RIVER ????

A perfectly valid post, if the *** wants to quit then the least they can do is use the menu, its not as if he doesn't know at level 91.

One would suspect it was deliberate, which would say even more about them...

Level 91 may have felt the need to protect his average(not a true figure!)so we can only hope th@ it was a glitch.

If ANYONE, regardless of level, needs to DC from a game to protect their average at the cost to the other players of the game and experience, that person needs to not play.  If you can't afford to post what you shoot, don't shoot.  Go play practice or something where it doesn't count.

In my opinion, any game should have to option to finish or to post a score that is an average of their per hole score at that time.  The option to quit a ranked game without any effect shouldn't be there, in my opinion.  It would also make the cut line for the Open a lot higher, as players couldn't restart over and over with impunity until they got the start they liked.  And if not, I would posit that definitely any multi-player should have only these options.  If you are in a multi-player, and are +2 after 6, you have the option to go in and finish, or to take a final score of +3.  Or even let them extend the current score to the end... if you are even after 6 when you DC, you have the option to go in and finish or take an even score for the full 9 (or 18).  You don't have the option to act as if the round didn't exist.  Bad enough that, if you have 10 posted scores below that one, that one will have no effect anyway.

Don't know what tier the Level 91 player in question was.  One great thing about being at the Legend tier is that your average really doesn't matter at all so there is absolutely no reason, other than vanity I guess, to quit.

I never quit without advance notice to my playing partners, even in a game like Blitz you can lock up the game by quitting at the wrong time, so you should do it in a courteous manner if you have to quit for a legitimate reason.

Those who quit to protect their average are doing nothing but moving up quicker than their talents would otherwise allow them to do.   They become canon fodder for the sandbaggers who do just the opposite.
