We didn't skip a beat in our CC. There's simple work arounds, more like a nuisance than anything. All you need is in this thread. Only takes a minute to understand it.

But a number of people just won't understand, that WGT just really doesn't give a Rats Rump about this problem. It does nothing for raising revenue, so why bother.

If they manage to stumble onto a fix, great, if not, oh well

So, the money that all of you WGT players have spent on this game is not enough to get the recent issues fixed? I Think we all need to pick a our own 48 hour clash with WGT and not play a round or purchase anything,, obviously there are some players that will need to go in a practice round and hit a ball to keep the consecutive days going, BUT why don't you all start a very simple 2 or 3 day protest of the game. All of you have been patient enough.........Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, ............10th, 11th , 12th...boycott hitting balls, or purchasing anything from WGT or any of its sponsors...

Lets hope this clash is highly successful.......with the proceeds they can hire some decent programmers who actually know what they are doing, instead of the idiots currently employed.

As our messages toolbar doesn't appear in all browsers, there is a standalone WYSIWYG What You See Is What You Geteditor that you can use instead HERE.

To use it, just type into the message box in the same way that you used to here at WGT. I think all the icons we had are there, plus a few more, but not the video icon.

Posting videos can be done this way...

    [view:***video URL goes here***:444]

This can be typed (don't copy and paste the above) straight into your message.
The 444 value can be changed to adjust the video size, but 444 fills the forum width nicely. A value of about 240 is a good size for wall posts and 550 is about the most you can squeeze into a blog post.

When you have finished your message, click the HTML button (underneath the Paragraph box) to open the HTML source window, copy everything in the HTML source window, then paste it into your message box here.

If you need to edit one of your posts here at WGT, do the following...
    1. Click the edit button at the bottom of your post.
    2. Copy everything in the edit message window.
    3. Go to the standalone WYSIWYG editor and click the HTML button to open the HTML source editor window.
    4. Paste in your copied WGT post then click UPDATE at the bottom of the HTML source editor.
    5. You'll now see your post in the WYSIWYG editor where you can edit it.
    6. Once edited, click the HTML button again and copy everything in the HTML window.
    7. Then paste it back into your message at WGT.
    8. Done!

    25th Oct 2017:
If you don't want to use the standalone WYSIWYG editor. You could try starting your post with this...

    <p style="white-space:pre-wrap">
...after that, type out your message as usual. There's no need to put in any funny HTML stuff as you can make new lines or new paragraphs by hitting enter once or twice, and you can put spaces in as you would before, by hitting the spacebar. This formatting will all be preserved when you post your message, so make sure you end your post with the closing </p> tag, not forgetting the forward slash in it.

Aha! Even tables work, how about that. : )

    one two three four five
    six seven eight nine ten
    eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen
    sixteen seventeen eighteen nineteen twenty

    Scott is an effing legend.

Perhaps you could offer the WGT "engineers" consultancy.

But here is te deal, why can't WGT offer workarounds? In the untold threads and pages on this issue, not once have they offered solutions, and communication is scant at best.

An effing Tour Legend nowadays Alan! Lol. Thanks though. It's all a bit of a palaver, but saves having to know/learn any HTML stuff.
