Hi all, I've recently just purchased some credits (1,603 at the moment). I've managed to get to Tour Pro Level 51 without buying anything so far, but i've had enough of the poor yardage off the tee and in to green. I'm just wondering what the best move is? I've seen some complete sets...but not sure if thats the best way to go. Any advice would be much appreciated! Beabs

Good advice from my friend Opy. Second suggestion: For many of us, the level 48 TM R1 driver was a game changer off the tee. A bit more credits than you have at present, but worth every penny. It'll get you to Legend.

2 good suggestions to start. For a 3rd, wait until Lvl 59 and get the Ping G25 iron set there. They'll get you to Legend as well -- especially with that Lvl48 TM driver.

I appreciate two short custom wedges of 50/75 or 60/80 yds as a starter, but the third will only make sense below a custom iron set - better wait to buy that!

Hi all, Thanks for the advice! In terms of waiting for the Lvl 59 Ping G25 (2,395 credits) and the TM Lvl 48 driver (2,495 credits) - obviously thats quite a way off the 1,600 credits I have at the moment. Is it better to save credits and do that, or just focus on wedges/driver? Cheers

Go for decent wedges, you have enough now. While that longer driver might be tempting, you'll use the wedges way more than the driver and they will make a bigger difference in a more important part of the game--your short game.

Your wedges should include a 64, 60 and 56. This will space them properly and then you can have some serious fun learning all the different shots with them-pitch, punch, flop, chip and full. :-)

Thanks YankeeJim, In terms of wedges, I'm thinking the Lvl 39 ATVs look best value for money?

I never played the ATVs but I know they're comparable to the CGs, just different yardages. I'm a CG fan so I'd push those but either set will do you well. They key is learning how to use them and until you get to the Legend tier, your short game is what's going to propel you forward, not the distance off the tee.

Eventually you're going to wind up with the high level version of what you get now so look to the future clubs and compare them to what you can get now. :-)
