Hello guys, I'm lvl57 tour pro and I'm close to buy new clubs but have some doubts, maybe you will be able to help me to choose proper driver and wood. 1. DRIVERS I'm thinkink about TaylorMade M1 9.0° and TaylorMade R1 TP 9.0 and PING G25 10.5° Driver. Is it worth to pay more than 1200cr for M1 than Ping G25? Or the best option will be R1? 2. Wood Callaway Big Bertha 3 or PING G25 3 Fairway Wood 14°? Have no idea, or maybe other will be better? 3. Irons Decision made almost: PING G25 Iron Set (Steel) (L59+) 4. Wedges Decision made. I reject the Hybdrid and will buy 3 x ATV Wedges 56,60,64° 5. Putter Decision made. I will buy Daytona. What do you think guys?

Use the SEARCH BOX to the right. There have been several good threads about upgrading on a budget that will give you good advice.

FWIW, I bought the L59 Ping G25 complete set and used it successfully. I didn't upgrade to a separate driver until I could buy the L79 TM SLDR in white. I found the Ping Driver and 3W worked well for me. I eventually got the Ping L81 3W when I got there. I finally upgraded to the L90 TM RSi2 set when I got to L90.

On wedges you are fine with those ATV's. I used them until I got to L80 and could get the top level Clevelands. I did get rid of the hybrid when I went to the 3 wedges. Good Luck.

    +1 Phred!

To the OP, use the time till L59 to buy those wedges - they are more important than any other clubs!
