  Can anyone tell me why pictures are not able to be sent in messages anymore, is there a setting I need to adjust.

  At the last maintenance downtime Mike, they mislaid the messages toolbar. There are no settings that will bring it back, we just need to wait until they fix it.
  
  There is a workaround here.
