    Well, this is a new one why enter if you're gonna WD round 1...

    Bracket

    Do I have play that, or will WGT advance me automatically? Thinking I should play it to be safe, but was just wondering.

    Lol thanks Jim I'll take all the help I can get my hands on. This might be the quickest tournament/bracket round in history! :)

    You don't need to play if there's no opponent (*), and in a certain sense it's safer to not play, because you can be forced to a WD when you are disconnected by any chance.

    (*) but you have to play when your opponent WDs against you
