AHHHHHHH!!!!! Oakmont

  WTF!!!  it seems that everything you have calculated as far as green speed, elevation, and wind is thrown the @@@@ out the window when playing Oakmont. Why the @@@@ cant I play this course. I shoot 29's on every other course but cant even shoot par on this @@@@ up course! what gives!!!!!!

  Same here. It seems with every course they add gets more difficult. Well should be interesting what RSG is going to be like.

  Play the Qualifier, it will soothe your bruised ego a little, you should be able to break par, although might be hard to shoot a 58! Hitemstr8!

  I think the most difficult thing about Oakmont compared to the other courses is the greens.  If you land the ball in the wrong place, you are easily looking at a possible three putt.  Speed, slope and pin locations are all at another level of difficulty IMO.  C
