Update of what we have going on at the club in 2018!
We split our year into 4 seasons. Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Each of these contains the following.
Tour: Our main flagship event. Each tour is different and unique. We have started our spring tour which is our world tour. We are playing 14 rounds on different courses. Each course is being sponsored by a member, We have Colin's Chambers, Emily's Erin and Williams Wolf creek just to name a few. There are 4 groups of 6 players based on skill level. Each course has points for 1st 2nd and 3rd for each group so everyone has a chance to score points. At the end the winner of each group will receive their prizes and go into the final round for the chance to be crowned Tour champion.
Summer tour is a olympic special. Some great different events already lined up for people to compete and try win the medals. Medal charts for every tier and plenty of prizes.
Autumn Tour is a world cup special. A big match play tournament with group stages and knockout stage after to crown the winner. Team event aswell.
Winter tour is in planning.
Stroke play league. 3 Divisions with 10 players in each. 9 weeks long. Each player plays each other twice. Also a league cup for all the players registered in the leagues.
Monthly Major: Each month we have our major, plenty of credits up for grabs and other random prizes like HIO prize, best master tier finisher or best non major winner prize. This month we have a 3 man team event going on. teams of equal standards will combine their scores to try win.
Last Fanatic Standing: 2 groups again based on skill for this event. Each week the person with the worse score goes out.
Tier specific tournaments: Emily's Everest for legend +, Mikey's master for master and tour masters and Charlies Pro's for pro's and tour pro's. All with great rewards and every month.
Emily's Pairs cup. A doubles event, Again teams chosen by Emily to make them fair. first few rounds have best of 3 legs then the final is best of 5.
Colin's Uneven Champs. A little event for our uneven players.
Monthly Bracket: A bracket each month, one for the high tiers and one for the lower tiers.
Sparky's set of the month: Tom puts on a set of the week event once a month. Nice prizes for that.
plus there plenty other random events. Ryder cup will be back this year. Great team event with match play alt shot and pairs.
Fanatic Grand Nation. Our unique new event will be starting february. Have to join to find out how it works.
We do special events for certain players from each countries like last year we did a ThanksGiving classic. Prizes for best USA finishers. We will do more this year like Australia day and St georges day. More we get from different countries the more we can do.
