    i just got told about it, cheers for the heads up tho

    the game got played on the 4th....just being told about it now

    i checked both players pages, and the scores above are correct

     

    so win for the wooden bees, not sure the points, but defo win for wooden

    other results will be coming in over the weekend

    In a match sometimes as ugly as the New Jersey weather this morning, I outlasted Debrug 43-42 (63-64 stroke play). There were some great shots, and some head-scratchers.

    I was up two coming to 18. After two drives in the fairway, Debrug nearly holed out for eagle on 18, which would have forced me to make the birdie to win. He came up just short and made the birdie, while I lipped the birdie putt and tapped in for the one-stroke win.

    It was a pleasure to play David. We had fun, whether it was scratching our heads about errant shots, or in applauding the great ones.

    Thanks again David for the fun and competitive match!
