  quick update

  we still have  TM in the plate

  holes conceded against a CH  2/4 and 18

  A result from The Plate Quarter Finals, Match 1, Tie #6.

  Randy5900 beat MainzMan 2 up.

  One hell of a good game Randy, it really was.  Saving par on the 5th after driving into the brush was a great effort.  We were level after 9 holes, both made eagle on #10 and then I took a 2 hole lead as I birdied a few of the next holes.  Randy made a great come back though, worthy of Elvis himself and the match was actually over after the 16th when he went 1 up.  Even if I tied the match on #17 he had a concede on the 18th.

  We played on though, with me agreeing to concede a putt on #18 if necessary but it turned out to be unnecessary as he sank a beauty of a putt for birdie and the win by 2 holes.

  Brilliant play Randy, not only bogey free but I think your score would have been easily into the 50's.

  pleasure to have met jakob, nice bloke. i went one down early on but then had one of those rounds at merion which dont happen very often. jakob was so unlucky with some of his putts and i managed to punish him when he did. great to have met you jakob. 

  25 viewers and a big thank you for the support. good luck to the rest of my team mates. 

  and i eagled hole 14 from 166 yards, which apparently wins me a prize.

  Tough and intense match. Certainly not the greatest round either of us ever played, but it was enjoyable and close all the way. Made two big putts on 14 (to stay AS after losing the previous two holes) and 18 (15ft for birdie) to seal the deal. 

  Graeme was a great opponent, glad we could make it work despite our conflicting schedules (even though I was playing in kind of a near-coma due to exhaustion and fatigue).

  Sorry for all the Twitch-people, but the streaming in combination with the hot temperatures heated up my laptop way too much and it was messing with the putting dots too much to continue.
