Its been a great start
to the world cup, only 1 match left to go and hopefully done today,
Thx to all captains
and players for getting your matches in,
Not too many problems
so let’s keep it that way for the next 8 rounds,
Right onto the golf,
some great matches out there and a few teams have made a great start
Group 1
Wooden tee have
assumed their position at the top with a comprehensive maximum 24 points,
They face outcasts
this round and may not find it so easy,
Victoriae are second
with the SEL Spartans in fourth place,
Group 2
the SEL villains are
top after their convincing victory over Georgian but they face cosa goodfellas
who are 3rd,this will be a tough one to call,
bravehearts take on
the cobras who are lying 4th so there could be a few changes.
Carolina makes their
entrance to the comp with a tough match against fairway fanatics,
This group will be
tough to call and will go to the last game I’m sure,
Group 3
East coast are top but
face the second spot SEL diablos this round and aussie boys take on the eagles
funny how this works out ,
Again I can see a lot
of changes in this group too early to call any spots,
Outcasts C make their
appearance against the squirrels who were closely beaten by the diablos so good
luck to them they will need it,
Group 4
The chickens look in
control after their win against the patriots but kona all stars are only a
few behind with the bees and venus just
a couple behind them,
The bandits make their
appearance this round and should be up there at the end I’m sure,
Another hard group to
call 4 places, these groups are so close and teams cannot afford to drop
points,
Round 2
March 16th
to march 30th
Chambers Bay
18 holes strokeplay
Another risk and reward course, eagles to double
bogeys on here so could be some great scores but some disasters if you are on
the wrong side,
A great course to go head to head and players
will be thinking before playing certain shots just in case.
All matches are on page 1 of this forum in the groups and tabs at
the bottom of the page,
RULES
Each match will be played to a win, draw lose no
sudden death,
Each match will have a 2 week timeline to
complete
Any matches not completed on time will be looked
at by the panel and a decision made on the result depending on evidence
supplied,
Any players refusing to play will forfeit their
match,
Any player with a -+2 must add strokes to their final score
Any player with a +4 must add strokes to their final score
Once a match been played
the result will stand so it’s up to all players to check the opponents tier
before start of play,
It’s entirely up to the
players what shot clock they use; sort it out between you before start of play I would suggest 90secs there's no rush and you can have a chat while waiting
No focus boosts
will be allowed during matches. Use of this tool will lead to a
disqualification
Players please when
posting results, I would like group number, teams and players please and a
short post of the match,

of your opponent will do,

THE ARRANGING RULES PLEASE READ
Arranging matches
Player 1
If you are the player 1 it is up to you to send a friend invite to
your opponent and keep an eye on your friend list to make sure he has accepted
it. If they do not accept it after 3 days let your captain know ASAP please.
Once they have accepted your friend invite it is up to them to
send you a message stating what time zone they are in and what days and
times they can play there match with you
You then can reply with an answer from there pick of times and
dates but please remember to check the time difference 6pm where you are not
6pm all over the world so please adjust the time difference.
Player 2
If you are the player 2 you just wait for a friend invite once you
have received it you need to send him some dates that you can play your match
Something like this
Hi thanks for the friend invite my time zone is GMT
Times I can play are
Thursday 24th at 7pm to 8pm my
time
Friday 25th at 8pm to 9pm my
time
ETC the more dates you can give them the better
But please make sure you put a time not just
Thursday night or Friday night.
Do not wait for a player to be green
That does not mean anything.state an exact time between you when
