  Paul, just to let you know I'll field a Bridgestone team of however many you say.  This is your tournament, your rules.

  I'll also do my best to stop you getting dragged into any disputes from our matches, as team captain I'll have anyone with an issue contact myself and I'll sort it out with as little fuss as possible.  Or ignore it if I've had a few  ; )

  Same goes for my team posting any issues here, as far as I'm concerned this thread is for results and banter, it's not a courtroom.

  thx patti ive got broad shoulders so can handle anything thats thrown at me,

  as i say we are coming to desicion on the squads and a few other things and i will post our conclusions on the forum,

  all i ask now please is no negative comments,lets move on and concentrate on making this years comp better than last years,im sure it will anyway,

  3rd year and many more to come lol

  Hi Paul, are Mobile players allowed in the teams squad? we have a team of around 11 at the mo but a couple are mobile players.

  I don't get this logic at all. What started out as a fun tourney morphed into something that is now hard as hell to win. This isn't a lame clash, which fits your logic.

  Your problem might not be logic, but reading comprehension. What Gordon is arguing - and I wholeheartedly agree with him - is that it's tough to get WGT's best players to play 2 long matchplay games a month they are going to win anyway. So extending the player limit to 14 would give us among others the opportunity to offer those who don't want to play all games more breaks. 

  It's fine of course if you say that this is primarily a fun tourney. I can tell you though that after having to organize our team for this year's event and having talked to Gordon about their situation, the change to 14 players is necessary if you want the best clubs to participate. 

  Feel it was that what set the ball rolling.
